TAA and NAA - The National AfterSchool Association

TAA is one of 35 states that are affiliated with NAA - the National AfterSchool Association. As an TAA member, you are also a member of NAA and part of a powerful national movement. TAA and TAA members are connected to providers and programs across the country - building our ability to strengthen the field, stay in touch with leading edge developments, and share best practices.

The National AfterSchool Association, formerly the National School-Age Care Alliance, was founded in 1987. NAA is a professional association with a membership component-our membership includes more than 7,000 practitioners, policy makers, and administrators representing all public, private, and community-based sectors of after-school and out-of-school time programs, as well as school-age and after-school programs on military bases, both domestic and international. As the leading voice of the after-school profession, NAA is dedicated to the development, education, and care of children and youth during their out-of-school hours.

NAA is the accrediting body for school age programs and annually presents a national conference for the field. For more information, please visit www.naaweb.org.
